Lost our reservation. Room was not as big as promised - no room for our portable crib w/o blocking the door or bathroom. One elevator meant long waits with our infant. Walls were paper thin. The breakfast was nice except I saw people come in off the street and try and sneak food. Annoying and made me uncomfortable. Staff was nice and helpful.

Hotel was clean and breakfast was fine, however, it is not convenient for the traveler on limited time. It is not conveniently located. It is about 4 blocks out of the way from anything. Actually, I mistakely booked this hotel because it was listed as mid-town and I thought it was the one located more convenient to Times Square. The main plus is that their are only 4 rooms per floor so it is very quiet and easy to get a good nights sleep. I would not stay here again because the last block or two I felt was questionable as far as safety. I was traveling with my teenage daughter and would have liked to switch hotels but by the time I determined that it was not the hotel I wanted it was too late to change. The staff was not helpful so we figured it out on our own. No information was offered at anytime during our stay.

Staff friendly, only 4 small rooms per floor, but 15 stories. Breakfast decent. Cold A/C. Got a best rate guarantee here, so was only about one forty per night. Hotel has a deal with adjacent parking lot, for only thirty five a day. Not bad if you want to stay in Manhattan and not spend $400 a night.

We stayed in this hotel in Feb. while attending the New York Gift Fair. The staff was excellent & friendly. Rooms while not terribly spacious ( but unless you pay 300+ which ones are ??!!) were very clean and fresh smelling. Bus lines & subway were nearby, although we didn't need to use them. It was just short 2 block walk to Javits -- very convenient, There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance as well, 42nd street is about 5 blocks.
Parking, while not free, was right behind the hotel, and we got a discounted rate. I'd like to add, the parking lot staff was VERY accommodating, we got into NYC before check in, parked the car and left our luggage in it. After the show closed for the day, they retrieved our car so we could get our stuff, and the next morning did the same thing so we could put luggage back in to attend the show.
I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again !! -

We found the room to be too hot with the steam heat provided and had to get used to the clanging of steam pipes in the winter. The room was fairly clean and the breakfast was average. The bathroom is in need of a major overhaul, but it was clean. Adjusting the water temperature was a bit of a game that I had trouble mastering. The rooms are small with a full size bed and a twin bed. Mandatory dollar plus per day for the room safe whether it is used or not. Because of price, location, and safety in the heart of NYC, I would consider going back again.
