  Staff was very helpful and accomodating. While booking room over the telephone, I asked if there was a military discount and requested a room with a view of the lake. Was given a free upgrade to a suite at the military discounted price. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was very clean and presentable. Continental breakfast was more than I expected and the hotel is located conveniently next to the restaurant. Was recommended to this hotel by my brother and would recommend this hotel to others.

  Paid for a high price suite, what we got was a room in bad need of maintenance. fireplace worked poorly if at all. cold snap forced us to use the ...

  Paid for a high price suite, what we got was a room in bad need of maintenance. Fireplace worked poorly if at all. Cold snap forced us to use the room furnace which was so loud we could not converse. Lousy air exchange either to hot or cold nothing at comfort level, room comfort was so poor we had to stand in the hallway to warm up. Such a bad experience that we would not consider ever staying in this hotel again.

  I and my family visited the Manistique, MI comfort inn and was very satisfied. We enjoyed the staff, clean rooms, and awesome food next door at the Big Boy. We took a walk on the Boardwalk along the lakeshore of Lake MI. and what a fun time we had. We will reccommend this hotel to our friends and will come back. We were able to watch the fireworks from the beach across the street from the hotel and it was convient for us. Super Place.
