I was traveling with my two young children and did not want to carry our heavy cooler up the stairs. I requested a room on the first floor. The woman at the counter stated, "You wouldn't want to take the room from an 80 year old, would you?" She used a tone I wouldn't accept from my 9 year old. She also suggested that I would let my kids run around the motel and cause a problem. This is not a way to get business from young families. I find their customer service aweful and would recommend young families stay away from this location. There is a pool but it is not worth it with the aweful customer service. I would suggest to this motel to do a first come first serve basis. If the 80 year old wants a room on the main floor, make a reservation and request a room on the first floor. If I get there first and don't want to hurt my back by carrying a large cooler up stairs then I should get a first floor room! First come, first served. For this reason, I will not stay at this Comfort Inn and I will recommend to anyone that I know not to stay there either! I had a very good experience at the Super 8 Motel across the highway. Pleasant staff and very friendly and accomodating! I definitely recommend checking out the Super 8 Motel! We attempted to stay on July 4, 2010.

This hotel is nothing exceptional but an OK place to stay for the price. There didn't seem to be many hotels or restaurants in the area. When we initially checked-in they had us down for a smoking room but we were able to change to a non-smoking room right away. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable enough. We took advantage of the swimming pool and hot tub and had the place to ourselves. The continental breakfast in the morning was nice and they had waffles. The hotel employees were helpful, especially the woman helping at the breakfast. Fine for an overnight stop.

The worst smelling smoking room ever . I've stayed in smoking rooms before but this room was nausiating. Tried to get another room but only smoking rooms left. Needs some serious airating and cleaning.
