I have stayed several times in durations of 1, 2 or 3 nights when on business - as expected got another clean, comfortable, room. It is a good, no frills value for a low price at a good location for about all of NoVA. This last time, the free high-speed internet connection, on which I depend for evening work, was the best yet. Don't know if they upgraded or if my room was just closer to a source, but it was very pleasing. If the wi-fi becomes more reliable, I might never try elsewhere.

The hotel was fine for the rate charged. Room clean, internet connect present. Staff friendly. Since there was a credit for dinner we expected a real resturant. Instead it only had frozen pizza, burgers and small selection of sandwiches available. After a long day of travel (and traffic around the hotel was terrible) we did not attempt to find another place to eat. However the breakfast was okay. Metro ride went without a problem to and from the station.

The room was fairly clean, the staff was pleasant. If internet is needed, do not stay at a Comfort Inn. They contract out the service and will give you a toll free number to call if you can't connect. They tell you your proxy settings are incorrect and your firewall is the problem. Funny my computer works fine at Holiday Inn! The only signal I could get in the Comfort Inn room was by setting the computer on top of the coat rack and standing on a chair. The pool is outside, and the door out to it locks behind you so you have to walk around the hotel to the lobby to go back to your room. Breakfast was okay. The dining room is not open on Sunday night. The ""gift/convenience shop"" was NEVER open while we stayed our two nights (even though its sign says it was supposed to be). If you stay here with kids and the weather is not suited for the pool use, there is NOTHING for the kids to do. Nothing close to walk to without taking your life in your hands on the busy street in front of it. The shuttle service to the Metro was great, no problems there. All in all, I would pay a little more and stay at a nicer place. This was one of two Comfort Inns that we stayed at on our trip. If I had not made my reservations through a online travel website. I would have left after the first night, however, your payment is non-refundable through yahoo travel!!

I hate to say I was very disappointed in this hotel after reading the other reviews. The room was very small and in need of repair in the shower. The area was not the best as there was no where to walk to from the hotel. Most of the staff were friendly and the shuttle to the Metro was great. The breakfast was not that great and the person putting out the food was not friendly at all. The area around King Street seems to be a much better choice.
