We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and are not into B&B's or cottages so we chose the well known name of a Comfort Inn. The price was high for 1 night in a small town. I wasn't necessarily impressed with the front desk staff. She did not inform us of the hours for breakfast, the hot tubs, or the pub. We were going to go to the pub and got there 5 minutes too late.... a bar closing at 10pm. Not where I'm from!! The hot tub area that also had the pool table and ping pong tables were enclosed in a room that was worse than the stuffiest steam room. We were pretty bored and played some ping pong.... and could barely stand to be in the room for 20 minutes because of the humidity. Had to call the front desk to ask the hours of breakfast because they were not posted in the information book either. Breakfast was a hot buffet style and was good. We ate at the Antler Grill for dinner also and the food was good but staff was alittle too casual for a place of business. The shower's were another thing all together.... the water temp kept changing from hot for 30 seconds to cool and back and forth and after about 10 minutes the shower nozzle started screaming.... it was not an enjoyable shower.

OK hotel. Not much to do in Gardiner, but very good location to Yellowstone Park. If you are want to spend your entire day in the park, this is a good choice. Restaurant choices in town are slim, and everything in the town (restaurants, etc.) are expensive.

WIFI only reached 1/10 of the hotel. Had to threaten staff with their 100% Guarantee policy. He did get WEP key for Travelodge whose WIFI I could receive. Food choices were slim but steaks were very good. Wait staff VERY inexperienced. Chairs in room were "quaint" log creations and not good for anything but matching room decor. Toilet seat was broken and cleanlines was not something you would like. Limited breakfast. Good for heart disease and not free.

Room was clean. Located near edge of town but can walk to food. Continental breakfast did not exist and they give you $3 off of the buffet offered in restaurant on premises which was awful.
