  Motel is in close proximity (walking distance) to Corning glass and several blocks from the main tourist area of Corning. The motel has seen better days and is in need of major updating, the exterior appearance is really very ""ratty"" - interior a bit but not much better. There may be better choices but , considering the price, is OK for one night.

  Very clean. We ended up with a handicapped room which had a huge bathroom. Our only complaint would be the doors closed very loudly (with a slam) and that was disruptive of your sleeping. Otherwise, the staff was all very friendly and talkative. Light continental breakfast.
  2 blocks from the Corning Museum and there's a nice bakery right next door that smelled heavenly.
