Overall we got what we paid for and nothing more. The hotel is not well run, the staff seems new and the most helpful person was the custodian. He seemed to be the person with seniority and the most knowledgable . I am grateful that he was always willing to answer a question. Location is great. We stayed here when we went to the Tom Petty concert, very convienant! The breakfast was predictable. Never well stocked or cleaned. If this place can iron out the service kinks, it would be wonderful.

Our room had little bugs, some on the chairs and air conditioner and actually crawled on my arm and leg. The bath sink was very slow draining and they say they took care of it but we finally had to take the plug out for better drainage and still saw bugs even after we sprayed. The pillows seemed to be feather and had a terrible odor. The bath towels were very, very nice. Breakfast was good and ample with bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs (fair), toast, muffins, danish, bagels. The hotel really needs a good cleaning especially the upholstered furniture (or replaced) and vacuuming, as well as dusted. Price was good but I cannot recommend. Restaurants and shopping areas close by but Brockton is not a good area.

We were there for one week (two couples) since booking through travel site or we would have left. Tried to contact Travel site but was left on the phone for over 15 minutes with no answer. We complained about bugs (small ants or something) numerous times, bath sink slow draining. The staff for the most part were pleasant unless you complained about anything. In a week's time I do not believe our room the hall or stairs were ever vacuumed. Very dusty everywhere. The upholstered chairs int he rooms were absolutely filthy. The morning breakfast was ample and nice. The Brockton area did not appear to be safe, especially for seniors after dark. We did not use the pool or other rooms available.

The hotel is located right off the highway, making it convenient and easily accessible. It is across the the street from a major shopping plaza. (About a square mile big). The plaza offers just about everything you might need, like restaurants such as Pizzeria UNO, Texas Roadhouse Steakhouse, Bugaboo Creek, Old Country Buffet, and others as well as a Wallmart in the back and many major chain stores. The hotel is tucked in a private area that gives it a secluded feel, and helps shield it from any real road noise. The hotel is exactly as pictured. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the housekeeping staff competent and pleasant. Some fixtures and areas show some light signs of wear & tear, but nothing seems to be allowed to go without repair. There is a small business space, an exercise area with treadmills, stationary cycles and 2 flat screen TVs. There is a small indoor pool right off the lobby and adjacent Spa. Unfortunately both are fully visible from the main entrance and primary first floor hallway. All rooms in Mass. are non-smoking by law, but mine must have been the last to convert. Upon check-in it had a heavy smell of smoke, but it dissipated after a full frontal assault of Fabreeze the first day. The complementary breakfast was ready to go each day, with make you own waffles, cereals, sausage & biscuits and egg and sausage patties. We booked 2 rooms through travelocity at about $89 a night. What we got was clean, comfortable rooms, with a few amenities and an overall comfortable stay. This is the fourth vacation with County Inns and we will look for them again. I would recommend them to my friends and family.
