Due to travel arrangements, I had to just show up at this hotel to get a room rather than booking it online. However, I had checked the pricing the night before. When the lady tried to book my room, she tried to charge me $* per night more than the price on their company website. Then said she did not believe me and made me pull it up on the computer in their office to show her. So I booked the room and forgot about her attitude and decided to just enjoy the stay. Later that night, I realize that the air conditioner in my room is broken. When I told her about it, she made an excuse as to why it may not be working without offering to fix it. She even acted as if I didn't know what I was talking about and didn't believe that the air was not working properly. I had to insist that they send a maintenance person which she said would be done the next morning. So we slept with windows open that night rather than repacking everything and moving to a new room (repacking a family of 4 would be a lot of trouble). The next morning I confirmed that maintenance would come by to fix the problem and left. When we returned to our room at 8pm that evening, we were told that maintenance could not come by and that we would have to sleep with windows open again and use a fan or move to another room. We checked out the next morning rather than stay the full 7 days we had booked. The main problem was the attitude of the person I had to deal with. She was very ignorant and condescending.
