I read several reviews of motels near and chose Country Inn because of the review I read, There were absolutely no issues. This is very hard to believe, but there were no bugs and no wet carpets, no drain problems, no elevator problems, the people were nice, they even had free homemade cookies at the reception desk. The breakfast was actually much more than expected, and they did not run out of anything. This is what you expect but seldom receive.

First of all I just want to say that I wish I could have stayed longer. Walking into the main lobby gave me a comfy and cozy feeling. The staff at the front desk was very customer friendly even when asking about directions to local spots. I had 2 rooms rented (One king room and the other 2 Queens) and both were great with no problems. Both rooms were spacious and the bathroom was big enough too. Beds were really comfy, especially after the long day that I had. Breakfast caught me off guard because I was expecting something small but they had eggs, sausage, bacon, juice, cereal, etc… It was almost full of stuff to eat. The best part is that they also had freshly baked cookies, coffee, and ice cold water for when you walked by the lobby at any time. Also the smell of freshly baked cookies gave the lobby that extra feel. As far as staying again at this hotel, IT IS ON MY TO DO LIST for future trips to Sarasota. In other words I WOULD LOVE TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

A very nice hotel. Good breakfast and service. Close to everything and only a short ride to the beaches. Only complaint is that every evening the hotel would fill up with truckers, landscapers, and other business affiliated personnel. One evening a group was gathered at the pool drinking beer out of glass bottles and we witnessed one of the workers spitting in the jacuzzi. That kind of ruined it for us. Of course we realize that this could happen anywhere.

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and it served its purpose. I ended up upgrading from a standard to a suite because it was so much nicer & spacious for only $20 more per night. Housekeeping FORGOT to clean my room the first day, but I was pleased that the GM reimbursed me for one night's upgrade cost as a result of this oversight. The breakfast was nice, rooms clean and I was pleased for Wireless internet. The beds are hard. Its not the service I get at my Marriott's as a Silver Elite Member, but I will recommend it if you are on a budget.

HOTEL WAS GREAT. THE ROOM WAS EXCELLENT . KINGSIZE BED VERY COMFORTABLE ALTHOUGH THE PILLOWS WERE NOT THEY WERE EXTREMLY SOFT LIKE MARSHMELLOWS. DID GET AND RECIEVE EXTRA PILLOWS IN A TIMELY MANNER, WHICH HELPED SOMEWHAT BUT ISUGGEST THEY NEED FIRMER PILLOWS. BUT OTHER THAN THE PILLOW SITUATION HAD W GREAT TIME. NICE LARGE BATHROOM. AND A VERY NICE BREAKFAST TOO. WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN WHEN GOING TO SARASOTA FL
