Room and beach were great. The family enjoyed the free breakfast. Parking garage was a little tight for our Flex. We were able to walk around town. The resteraunt attached to the hotel was OK.. kids meals weren't the greatest, but it was close. The family had lots of fun on the beach. Room was very clean and updated. I'd recommend staying here

The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. However, the TV got terrible reception and there wasn't a pay-per-view option. There was no hot tub, and although there was an indoor heated pool, half-way through our visit they turned the heat off. This wouldn't have been too much of a problem if the pool room had been heated, but it was only around 70 degrees. (Not so great in December). Nonetheless, the staff was friendly and breakfast (waffles, fruit, coffee, eggs, sausage, pastries, juice, etc.) was provided. I would stay here again in the off-season as we only paid $*. per night. But given the overall shabbiness of the hotel I'm not sure it would be worth full price one pays during the summer months.

My wife & I stayed there for five nights in early Oct. The motel was fine. The only downfall was the bathroom needed a little work. The staff was great. Location on the beach front is good. We felt safe everywhere we went. The vagrants are there but only one bugged us, he was a little aggressive. Plenty of sights to take in. The boat tour of Chesepeake bay was cool, if you like boats. Norfolk is a neat town to walk around. Did not use pool but looked nice.

Love the location cause it is right in front of the beach. We have 2 teens who always wanted to sunbath and we felt safe enough to let them go by themselves and we can just watch them from our balcony.The room is decent, indoor parking is safe, hotel staffs are friendly and the free breakfast will save you extra especially if you have kids.We had a fire alarm during our stay which was handled by the hotel mgnt properly. will definitely stay again in the future.

What a nice surprise!!! After working a full day and driving all night we were allowed to check in early. This was a mini vacation for my husband and I. The parking garage was a plus that we didn't expect. Our room had an ocean view as did all the rooms. The maid staff was noting but helpful with anythng we needed. Waiting for us to clean our room. The breakfast was hot and fresh. The staff preparing it was the best, keeping items full when needed. Which is no small task due to the fact that the breakfast area in most hotels is small. We ate at the resteraunt in the hotel and enjoyed it. We will plan to stay again. Thanks to all who made this a restful and enjoyable time!!!!!
