We had such a good time here at this hotel as it is close to everything and the employee's make this a place you could call home. We were there for 2 nights and when we arrived was greeted as if we were family and our room was nice and cozy with the heat on and a small light left on for us to get around. The breakfast is out of sight, if you go hungry this would be your own fault, hot waffles, egg patties, saugage, bagels, donuts, cereals, breads, bagels and much more. Our next visit to the Williamsburg area will be at this hotel and no other.

Good, clean, basic hotel - ok for low-carbers

The Country Inn and Suites is a fine choice for the area in that it is centrally located, clean, friendly and comfortable. If you're just looking for a place to crash each evening after a full day of culture, amusement parks, golf or water fun, you've come to the right place. It's not the Ritz, but it also doesn't cost anything like the Ritz. The breakfast was better than most "included" breakfasts in that it did include bacon and sausage in addition to all the normal carbs. the staff was attentive and helpful. The room was clean and fully functioning. And the beds were comfortable. The guest laundry facilities were also extensive and easily accessed. Good for families.

Our overnight trip occurred on March 28th, 2010. We found the hotel conveniently located, it was clean and comfortable with a friendly staff. The free breakfast bar was stocked well with a good variety. We will most likely stay at this hotel again when we travel back to Williamsburg.

My mother and I stayed here for one night on a brief weekend jaunt to Williamsburg and had a perfectly nice stay - clean, spacious room; very quiet; cookies in the lobby; decent breakfast spread. But what I want to rave about is the staff that were so great: my mother realized after we returned home to DC that she had left a favorite - and pretty much irreplaceable - necklace in the room. She immediately called to ask if it had been found and turned in by the cleaning staff, and when they said no, she assumed it was gone for good. However, they called her two days later to say that they had turned the room upside down, gone through all the laundry, etc. and found it. I truly appreciated their extra effort and honesty.

This place was very charming and homey. There were lots of fall decorations and it had a rustic feel to it. We had a king suite and there was plenty of room as well as a full refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast had a good selection even when we went down right before they closed for the morning. The dining room was decorated with easy access to everything. I cannot say enough about the staff. Everyone was very helpful and genuine. We would definitely stay here again.
