Went for spring break with two other families. Staff was great and our teenage daughters had the time of their lives and so enjoyed meeting the staff and the other kids. The pre teen boys really enjoyed too but mostly enjoyed Beaches Negril vs. this resort. The beach was beautiful. Downsides--Waited over an hour in the lobby for our room. No one offered food or drink. Our friends requested two beds for them and their two teenagers but got a king with a rool away and a chair that pulled out and not until after 10:00 p.m. Our room was sub-par. Phone stopped working half way thru the week and never was fixed even after several trips to the lobby. Air conditioner never really cooled the room properly but i was afraid to complain and end up with no air at all. At meal time they would run out of plates! Food is average at best. Not enough quotfloatiesquot very very small pool. We go to Jamaica several times a year and most resorts are wonderful. Dont skimp go to Beaches Negril...you get what you pay for..large pool good food and plates.

My wife and I just returned from our trip and we had a wonderful time! The beach and view from the room were amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. There aren't quite as many amenities or restaurant options as Beaches Negril (just a short shuttle ride away), but we enjoyed the quieter, more laid back atmosphere of Sandy Beach. Would definitely stay again and next time will probably take our children as well as it looked like the kids that were there were having a great time as well!

This hotel needs some TLC. The rooms are not impressive for the rates being charged. They are piggy backing on the Beaches Negril facilities. Recently returned. Room phone does not work and was not resolved before I left. No iron was in room. Food was good but presentation could be better. Beaches Negril saved my vacation. Spa services at Beaches Negril was awesome.

Went with my wife, 2yo and 4yo. This was the perfect place for the kids. Peaceful, relaxing, great service, decent food. Went to Beaches Negril for a day, but it felt like we were inside disneyland, too many people. I think that would be better for tweens. Don't go if you don't have kids. Some couples were there and I could tell they weren't loving all the kids running around. Pools were small and not really usable. If you like pools, go to the Negril, they had a lazy river, two swim up bars and a waterslide. However the water in the pool was colder than the ocean. I much prefered the beach and ocean water. The rooms are not 5 star, nor big; but they keep it clean and comfortable and really we only spent as little time as possible in the rooms anyway. The great staff was what realy made the trip. They were all fabulous. Great drinks too, both for the adults and the kids.
