I attepted to stay at this hotel. The first room smelled nasty so I asked for another room. The second room was worse than the first. Eventually, I asked for a room with a window so maybe I could air it out--no good, there was no screen on the window and Augusta can be kinda buggy. After checking four rooms I gave up--I did not know if I would be able to find another hotel but I would rather sleep in my car than in that nasty hotel. I was willing to let them keep my deposit, it was so nasty. The staff person at the desk said they spray the rooms with four different deoderizers and odor neutralizers. I think that is what was causing the nasty smell. Like the whole room had been soaked in that fabric freshener that college kids use instead of washing their clothes. They refunded my money a few days later but I did not care, I suspect that sleeping in one of those rooms would have shortened my life expectancy. Smokers might not notice how bad this place reeks but trust me it is bad. This was one of the first courtyard by marriott hotels and it really shows its age. I know the marriott brand is usually one that you can trust but that is not the case here. This hotel is unhealthy. ZERO stars.

Price was far too high for the quality of the hotel. Rooms were so heavily scented with their air freshener I could barely stay in them. Had stayed in a Candlewood Suites the three nights before coming here and was shocked by the difference in quality and the much higher price.

We arrived on Friday, June 13 and had booked another hotel. It was awful so we checked into the Courtyard. We found the rooms very nice and the staff very pleasant. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan on staying there again when we return to the area. Look no further....you'll be pleased with this one.

The heat outside was unbearable, so I was happy to walk into an air conditioned room. The bed had already been turned down as well. I was happy to see the microwave and fridge, which made my dining out experiences even better. Helpful desk staff as well! Plenty of well lit parking.
