My firts time (ever) visit to San Francisco was wonderful...however Courtyard made it even much more special. They have spacious rooms and their staff is just wonderful. I came in and out of that hotel and never once did I not receive a smile. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Not only was it a great experience but it's close to everything!!! It is my preferred stay for my next visit to San Francisco.

This hotel turned out to be in a great location -- one block to the Wharf and close to Pier 39, lots of restaurants/bars, and there was a Walgreens and Starbucks around the corner. Avis and Hertz were a block away, Enterprise two blocks. If you're able to rent and return the car in a day, you can save a $*/day parking.
The hotel staff were friendly and all willing to accommodate. They just delivered new mattresses to our room the day we arrived, but unfortunatetly, I got the sofabed, which was pathetic. The room was spacious and clean, but sofa/sofabed and chair needed to be be replaced. There's also a complimentary computer/printer in lobby to print boarding passes.
Try to request a room on inside of courtyard versus the street. It was very noisy on some nights -- I think it was trash pick up.
I'd definitely stay here again. -

The location of this hotel was great. It was close enough to Fisherman's Wharf yet a little off the beaten path. We were able to walk to anything surrounding Pier 39 and close to the F line cable car which connects you to the Embarcadero which from there you can get almost anywhere. Rooms were good size and clean. If you are looking for an affordable place close to the attractions, I recommend this!!!

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot Fisherman's Wharf because with Marriot you always know what you are getting. The hotel is within walking distance of the cruise ship terminal, the pier which seems to be the centre of all activities and where tours are booked. Although the rooms are somewhat tired the value is still excellent. The front desk staff and Concierge(s) was the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. I will saty there again. "
