Stayed on 10/18/09 going on a crusie the next day. Called from the airport for the shuttle and was there after a 15 minute wait. Check in was fine, very friendly and room was nice. The buffet in the morning was more than coffee and sweet rolls, with hot dishes which was more than expected. The free shuttle to the port was quick and driver very polite. Would stay here again. Oh they do charge you for the bottle water in your room.

02/03/2008It took 3 phone calls and an hours waiit to get the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. the staff didn't seem to care that we were waiting. ...
It took 3 phone calls and an hours waiit to get the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The staff didn't seem to care that we were waiting. The pool was closed for repairs. There was only one restaurant near the hotel. Luckiliy the food there was great. There is a train station right in front of the hotel. Our room faced the front so we got to hear the trains all night. Our wakeup call was 1/2 hour early. The dining area looks like they got the furniture from several old hotel furniture auctions. Breakfast which should be included when you are paying over $250 a night was very overpriced. I am not sure what the quatlity of the breakfast was since it was suppose to be served starting at 6:30 am and they still hadn't started it by 7:00. We decided to just check out early and head to the airport to get something to eat before our flight. Take my advise go elsewhere.

Good Stop Over For Cruise Port
01/19/2008Needed a place to stay overnight before a cruise from miami. great hotel, good transportation to cruise ports. easy in and out. very nice rooms.

A haven of goodness during a less-than-perfect adventure. Decided to stay there on two seperate occasions while stranded at Ft. Lauderdale and have been happily impressed each time. Great rooms and incredible staff. I highly recommend this place!
