  I stayed at this hotel for several nights in Mar 2011 on business. It is a nice location, decent hotel, good value for the money, etc. I had some complaints, mainly the speed of the internet (very slow) and the trains at night. There is a rail line that goes behind the hotel, and trains go by all night long, blasting their horns VERY LOUDLY. I was woken up several times a night. Even with the A/C unit on in the room, it would startle me out of sleep. I always stay at Marriott properties, but I will never stay at this one again because of that.

  Enjoyed the stay here, The room was clean, pool was nice and secluded, and we felt very safe there. But the hotel was a bit pricey for the fact that you had to pay for breakfast at the restaurant, even the continental had a price, but other than that it was a good stay. beach was across the highway and close to everything you need.

  We were a little afraid to try this hotel, but after passing it on the highway we decided to go ahead & give it a try because it looked very nice ...

  We were a little afraid to try this hotel, but after passing it on the highway we decided to go ahead & give it a try because it looked very nice from the outside. It was very nice, and there was absolutely no construction going on. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the rates were very reasonable. We stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely go back there again.

  We were not told that the hotel was under heavy construction. in fact we thought it was closed. this hotel was wiped out by hurrican katrina and is being rebuilt ...

  We were not told that the Hotel was under heavy construction. In fact we thought it was closed. This Hotel was wiped out by Hurrican Katrina and is being rebuilt About half the rooms are finished and these are the rentals and they are very nice. The office is in one of the old rooms. Construction workers are staying at the Hotel.
