  We chose this hotel because of its central location.We could walk to the theater, restaurants, shopping, etc. The room was rather small but very clean and well appointed. It also had a beautiful view of the Coronado Bridge, bay, and islands. It was formerly a bank so it had a different ambiance from the normal hotel. The only complaint we had was that it got rather noisy when the bars in the area let out at 2 a.m.

  The hotel was great! It has old world charm with great modern conveniences. We had a drink at the bar and really enjoyed imagining how it was a bank in the '20s and '30s. Fun atmosphere.

  The hotel is in a convenient location- walking distance to the Gaslamp District and Petco Park. The room was a little small for our family but is a good size if you're staying by yourself or with one other person. The only downside is the $*/day valet parking.
