My husband and I were in Lynchburg so that he could attend classes at Liberty. While down there, I found this hotel online and was able to make a one-night reservation. This is such a unique hotel. The decor is a shoe addict's dream. Rooms are great. Staff is energetic and helpful. You can walk from the hotel throughout the downtown area to restaurants and stores. They also have two restaurants onsite.

For a real treat, stay at the Craddock Terry Hotel. Everything was perfect, from the room to the personnel to the dog! We loved having breakfast delivered to our room, and the coffees that were available in the lobby! We will definitely be staying there again!

My husband and I stayed at the holiday for Valentines weekend it was terrific the staff was very friendly and the hotel was so clean the breakfast in the shoe shine kit was a neat little idea. I enjoyed every aspect of the stay.

What an incredible hotel lying right in the heart of downtown Lynchburg. We stayed 2 nights for our 40th high school reunion and loved every minute of it. There is not doubt we will stay here on our next trip to Lynchburg. The setting is right on the James River and there is an excellent paved trail along the river where you can walk, run or ride rented bikes and really enjoy the natural setting. The hotel staff was excellent, the rooms were fantastically decorated and the beds were the best I've slept in. We just stayed in a Ritz Carlton and if they had one in Lynchburg, I would choose to stay at the Craddock Terry Hotel! Don't miss the opportunity to stay in an incredible boutique type hotel.
