The hotel was in a decent location but there was a lot of loitering outside in the front and around the grounds from guests. The room was not in very good condition, and cramped. The room door had a gaping separation between the frame that allowed you to see light into the hallway, the security latch in the room was broken. The room is advertised as being a 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen. The room is actually a double room with a refrigerator, microwave and cooktop. Maybe they should use "studio" as a better description.The carpet was dirty, the loveseat was dirty, if the air conditioning was off the room had an awful mildewy, stuffy odor; one of the beds had an awful stain on the edge of the bottom mattress that looked really disgusting, this was "hidden" by the nightstand being pushed up really close to the bed. A real concern was that the secondary entrance door to the hotel where you should have had to use a room key to gain access was completely broken. The door was open to anyone who wanted to come and go. Maybe the hotels should be visited by Travel Website representatives in order to make sure they meet certain standards. I will not be staying there again for any of my many upcoming visits to Baton Rouge.

The hotel did not meet standards. Advertised "full" kitchen, however accomadations consisted of a stove top with 2 burners, refrigerator and microwave. Upon arrival "odor", not fresh; curtains, carpet stained; furniture "ragged". We had planned to have a Thanksgiving meal in our room, however it was ruined, due to lack of cooking appliances. In my opinion, full kitchen is not a 2 burner stove top. The beds were not of equal quality. When one of the beds was set up, it tilted forward. Had to change rooms because the inital room's stove top did not work. Despite the displeasure with the room, the front desk was very friendly. I would never stay there again.

This has been by far the worst hotel I have ever been. The front desk needs real customer service representatives for their business, they were not friendly at all. Our air conditioner didn't work properly-we had to reset it every half hour, our room door top lock didn't work and all of the windows were unlocked or opened and we were on the first floor! There were lots of young people just hanging in the lobby and outside of the building, sitting around drinking and using all kinds of profanity. This is not a hotel I would suggest to anyone.
