A mediocre hotel -- not horrible but not great. On the upside, it was clean, the staff was friendly, and the shower was good. On the negative side, the hallways are dark and cramped, the bathroom is tiny, and the parking is very limited (The hotel hosts conferences, which aggravates the parking problem during the day.) Another problem is that our room had one of those heat/AC units built into the wall that is very noisy, thus leading to interrupted sleep. The bed was pretty comfortable, though. In the evening, the hotel provides a wine and cheese table, although the wine was of poor quality and the cheees seemed hard and stale. Something that irritated me greatly was that in the morning, no free coffee in the lobby -- the hotel instead provides a machine that makes coffee at $* a cup! I did not check out the restaurant, since there is a neat diner about a half mile down the road. On balance, a mixed bag. When passing through this area again, I will check elsewhere -- not because this place was that bad but only in the hope that there are other hotels that are a little bit better.

I stayed at this hotel in august, and although the hotel itself was fine, the service is not great. First, I had ordered a package that included breakfast and they did not give me a breakfast voucher so I went I went down in the morning for breakfast they were all confused. THEN, I had prepaid for the room through Travelocity, however, they wanted my credit card for incidentals. Then they charged my card for the amount of the room, so I am now being charged twice for the same night's stay. Luckily I had noticed this on my credit card statement. I called the hotel on THREE separate days trying to get in touch with someone to refund me the amount of the room. I kept getting told to call back the next day and the last person SAID it was going to be refunded and I checked my credit card transactions and it hasn't be refunded. I was tired of spending all this time calling them back and getting the runaround so I filed a dispute through my credit card so THEY could try to get my money back. now it's in dispute...over a month later. Choosing to stay at this hotel has created such a headache! Spare yourself the trouble of staying here because their staff is non-responsive to your problems.

The Hotel was very nice, the room was large and the king sized bed very comfy. Great water pressure in the shower. The work out room is modern and spacious. The pool area is beautiful. If you get the chance to dine in, try the soup at Sheffields. I had the tomato and the split pea and both were delicious!
