  We were late to check in amd had no problems at all. The staff was smiling and sweet. The hotel was clean, and the room was perfectly clean and fresh. We will stay there again when we return to Baton Rouge.

  I had a great stay here. It's in a central location to everything in Baton Rouge. The remodeled bathroom was wonderful, especially the shower. The gym was clean with good machines, and the pool was quiet and relaxing.

• EXPECTED BETTER FROM A CROWN PLAZA

  Bad set up for arriving guests. you have to unload on a busy busy street without even a pull out area. $30 a day parking and if you can't ...

  BAD SET UP FOR ARRIVING GUESTS. YOU HAVE TO UNLOAD ON A BUSY BUSY STREET WITHOUT EVEN A PULL OUT AREA. $30 A DAY PARKING AND IF YOU CAN'T JUST GO TO YOUR CAR TO STORE PURCHASES. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A VALET GO GET YOUR CAR, THEY SAID IT WAS SEVERAL BLOCKS AWAY. THEN WHEN HE DELIVERS YOUR CAR ON THE VERY BUSY STREET, YOU PUT PACKAGES IN AND HE HAS TO TAKE IT BACK. ROOMS WERE ALSO DISAPPOINTING FOR A CROWNE PLAZA. MUCH BETTER OFF TO STAY AT THE ROYAL SONESTA, CHEAPER TOO.

  Stayed at this hotel for two nights in January. The hotel is no longer a Holiday Inn Select, but has converted to a Crowne Plaza. We had a room with a recently renovated bathroom. It was absolutely gorgeous with travertine tile and granite! The new bedding package is equally impressive, very comfortable! The biggest plus for me was the incredible fitness center. I like to workout everyday and this is the best fitness center I have seen in a hotel. I will definitely stay at this hotel again! Beverly Missouri
