The Crowne Plaza Grand Hotel is a wondeful place to stay. Perfect location.This was my first time there.The last time we stayed on the beach that was fun,however when we return it will be at the Crowne Plaza Grand Hotel.The rooms was great clean and very comfortable. The staff very friendly too. The only thing I would do next time is request the rooms facing the swimming pool. That way you can see the sun rise that is breath taking.This place is a thumbs up!

This is my 3rd planned stay at this Crowne Plaza. My first trip was the best-I did NOT expect the hotel to be so fantastic! It's the perfect blend of old and new. The staff couldn't be more friendly, the food is superb and the wait persons are over the top. Get lucky with a mid-level or higher floor and the view of downtown and Pensacola Bay are great. Antique buffs will love the lobby areas.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and will stay there every trip I make to Pensacola, FL. Yes, there are trains but the bartender will give you a "train beer" discount if you know to ask for it, whenever a train whistles. The hotel staff is amazingly friendly to this frequent guest. The bar staff, too. Both wired and wireless, my team and I are able to set up shop and get to work whether we're on our computers or spreading out blueprints while the bartender brings us a round of fresh drinks. The restaurant, except for the buffet and room service are not the fastest, but the food is good. Many restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are very clean, very orderly and if I forget a common item, the staff will bring it to me. The fitness center equipment is a little dated, but the neach is a job away.

We were on the 14th floor (limited access). The bed was just miserable! Neither my husband nor I got very much sleep the entire p.m. just could get comfortable. Everyone who worked there were very courteous. This hotel is definetely overated. We paid about $* for a king room on the 14th floor. We were given a corner room above the interstate...still had a view but not as good as a room facing directly toward the bay. The breakfast buffet was a disappointment. There was little variety and no fruit, yogurt etc... Overall a bust for us! We

In a recent biz trip to the pan handle, I enjoyed one night at the Crowne Plaza. The historic site was a nice touch against the high end rooms and very friendly service - not to mention the beautiful view of the water from my 9th floor room. I usually stay in a Hampton Inn or Marriott, but this was considerably nicer - and affordable. I suggest the Irish pub down the street - just as the staff and they will point you in the right direction. There is an interstate road close to the front of the hotel, but I did not find it noisy at all. Great hotel.
