The train cars are cool The Pool is awesome and the spa is even better Our room was nice It had a heat lamp in the bathroom :) The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bar had good food and good drinks. Loved our stay and we might be looking to do it again but next time might be in a train car. :)

My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza at Union Station on Christmas Eve. Our room was on the first floor in the atrium (no outside walls), so kept any train noise/vibration to a minimum. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is a small one. The free continental breakfast was a minimal offering of apples or bananas, one flavor of yogurt, fruit danish in a plastic wrapper and juice and coffee. Even though it was Christmas morning, I thought that breakfast at a 3.5 star hotel would be more generous. Over all our stay was great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station during our recent Christmas visit with family, who live in Indy. We booked 2 rooms at the hotel for 3 nights for a great price. The place was almost deserted with it being a holiday, but the service and response to our requests were friendly and prompt. When we arrived on Christmas afternoon, we were concerned where we would eat dinner as most everything was closed for the holiday. We were thankful to have access to the buffet in the hotel restaurant. The price was a bit high ($*), but the food was good. Without asking, we were placed in adjoining rooms, which was wonderful as we were able to move easily back and forth to visit with our adult children. The only negative comments I would make were that the lighting in the bathroom was poor, the bathtub was sluggish until I removed a large wad of hair, the magnifying mirror on the wall was loose, so I did not try to use it. To balance the negative, the heat lamp in the bathroom ceiling was appreciated, the beds were comfortable, we enjoyed the view down into the sitting area of the hotel. The trains coming through the station at night did rattle the building for a short time, but it did not really bother us once we realized what we were hearing. Parking was not cheap ($* valet), but we realize that comes with staying downtown in a large city. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay.

The hotel staff (Valet was very rude to me upon checkin, The rooms were very dirty, worn and the bathroom was in serious need of an update...the ceiling in the shower was 6'5" at best. My room overlooed the stadium, which was nice, but the trains passed by all night long, so it was very noisy (its a bad sign when they provide earplugs at check-in).
