11/07/2010The walls are very thin. running water in walls extremely loud. had only 3 hours of sleep due to the noise.

I was only in town for less than 24 hours. However, my stay at the Crowne Plaza could not have been any more positive. The shuttle picked me up from the airport about 5 minutes after I called the hotel. Then once I was checked in, the staff helped me get checked in and settled in very quickly. My room was just right, and very clean, and the beds were comfortable. I also enjoyed having a nice selection of hi-def channels to watch in the room. I did not have an opportunity to take advantage of room service, but the food at the restaurant in the hotel, Mezzo, was very good. The Cuban sandwich was my favorite. However, what impressed me most was how incredibly helpful the staff was to me. I had to check out prior to a job interview with nowhere to go. The hotel did not mind that I hung around the lobby for a couple of hours biding my time, and even offered to give me a ride to my interview in the shuttle (it was very close by). Either way, they made my brief stay in Tampa very, very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend Crowne Plaza to anyone looking to stay in Tampa.
