Very Pet Friendly-Ok place for the cost

I booked this room for its price and because it was pet friendly. When I arrived, I confirmed that I had a dog and the staff was fine with it. I have had places change their mind or restrict which rooms were allowed to have the pet(s). The area is residential with sidewalks giving you plenty of space to take your dog on a walk too. Depending on how long you stay, there is also a pathway under the interstate to the park by the river. The only drawback is this place does NOT have an elevator so be sure to be clear if you can't do steps when making the reservation. Also, the outdoor entry doors were not all secure-you could just walk in. Also, the access corridors smell and if the lazyboy is listed for your room-don't plan on it actually working. I would stay again.

This was the only place availabe the night we needed to stay...now we know why! The room was horrible. There was writing on the bathroom wall, carvings in the "desk" that was in the room. My fiance and I didn't dare get undressed when we went to bed. Don't stay here unless you have to.

i traveled from california to ny. this is by far the best super 8 i stayed in my entire trip. price i paid i expected 1 star accomodations and amenities, but i got 3 star accomodation and amenities.. loved the breakfast and free long distance and internet.. front desk lady was really helpful.

Terrible Place to spend the Night
08/07/2007Got in late (11 pm) room was dirty...manager had to strip bed(condom in the middle of the bed).

moved to second room next day...sink in the bathroom didn't work! was not charge the rate the reservation was made at. Charged $* more a night. Terrible experience..moved to another hotel. -

We had a couple of problems while we were there but got handled quickly by the staff. There is no elevator and the cleaning crew left our door ajar while she went to get more linens. So when we got to our door we were nervous to see it open with no one in it. But other than that it was fine.
