It was okay I guess. You get what you pay for here, and had I paid more I would have been upset. First off, I absolutely hate exterior corridors. The room was okay, had a desk and wifi. It was extremely humid outside and unfortunately they left my A/C off in the room. And when I turned it on it never seemed to get cold. Outlets are hard to come by to charge your cell phone or laptop. I found one next to my TV and when I went to plug it in I noticed about 4 dead roaches behind the TV stand. There was a giant black hair in my bed, the bed was uncomfortable, and my pillows weren't the best either. The shower looked to have been recently put in, however above the shower was some sort of attic door which eerily reminded me of a horror movie. One thing I did notice is that they did have security cameras all over the parking lot (not that it mattered because I saw maybe 5 cars). Overall, it was an OK stay. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

Me and my family were in San Antonio to go to Sea World. Checked in July 18,2010 and stayed three nights. Arrived at hotel about 2:45 and was allowed to checkin with no problems. The hotel is an older hotel and the room was fairly clean considering the age of it. It is a basic motel for those that are on a budget like myself and it served its purpose as a place to sleep because we were not there much anyway. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that the pool was closed the whole time we were there, which was a big disappointment for the kids. The person at the front desk stated that it was being repaired the first day we arrived. All in all it was ok, if I were taking the kids again I might stay there but for something like a honeymoon or anniversary I would not stay there. 20 min from Sea World and about 12 min from downtown.

Upon checking in they had no rooms left for which I made a reservation so instead of a King non-smoking, we ended up with a Double non-smoking. We went up to the room only to find that the A/C was not cooling at all, when we brought it up to the manager's attention he claimed to have sent someone up to our room...NO ONE showed up and they claimed they had NO OTHER rooms available. We saw a couple of bilingual housekeepers and it was THEM who switched us to a different room. On top of it being 90+ degrees out, their pool was out of service. WORST experience ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went for spring break and wanted to stay near the AT&T Center. We were a couple of minutes away from the center. You can see the Front of the AT&t Center from the parking lot of the hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable although a little small for being 'full size' kinda like super twin if you ask me. We arrived late or early in the morning about 4 A.M. and had to wake up the night staff. The staff was courteous and the room cleaned. No problem getting extra towels. The hotel is right off of IH-10 with a Gas station next to it. It is in a business area that is kinda vacant. The hotel was always busy with the parking lot full but had plenty of parking. Talk about no vacancies, there was not a room left vacant while we were there. It is a couple of minutes away from the Downtown attractions and if you follow E. Houston Street it will take you to the Alamo about a 7-10 minute drive. If you want a place to stay with no frills then this is the place. If you are looking for room service and a maid to turn down your bed at night then don't stay here. We look forward to our next visit and definitely stay here again.
