When we arrived they desk clerk was very helpful and curtious. We rented two rooms side by side. When we got into our rooms they we very clean neat and we loved that they had a mini frige with frezzer and a microwave. Very convienent. There were places to eat within walking distance. There was a grocery store(kroger)down the street and a k-mart within walking distance as well. The pool was clean and very nice. I like that you have to have a key card to even get in to the hallway of the motel. I felt a little safer knowing that unless you have a key pass you couldn't get into the halls of the motel. I would definatly recomend this hotel to anyone passing through. I would and will stay here again. The rate and rooms were worth the price we paid. Very affordable for a big family.

The hotel was along a lovely river in beautiful mountains. The building is fairly old. Not fancy, by passable. Pool is not at all enticing, tall white metal fence surrounds the pool, which is surrounded by parking lots. All very visible. Desk staff not very attentive.

The hotel was not clean. Room had cockroaches. Was not willing to even try the breakfast based upon the whole roach thing. Said they had free wi-fi but could never get connected; and I am an IT professional. Good location. Close to interstate. Beautiful view of the mountains.

The motel is in a truck stop, with a bar, with it appears ""working girls"" hanging out most of the night - not a good thing for a team of 15 year old soccer players to be around. Also, it appears that the housekeeping staff live in the motel, and cook food very heavily spiced with curry and ginger, among other things, so much so, that there was a terrible stench not only in the adjacent rooms (which luckily we did not have to occupy, although others in our party did, put it traveled to the foyer and even the other wing of the motel. Several days, after we had to ask, we were given additional towels, but our room was not made up. Towels were of very poor quality, and for 4 days we were not given a new bar of bath soap - eventually had to take it one from the housekeeping cart in the hallway. The continental breakfast was a joke. One day we tried to go back to our room, and our key card would not work the front entrance to the building, nor would it have worked our room door. When we went to the front desk, we were told it was due to the fact that the record showed we were checking out that day, and it was after noon. We were with a soccer team, which had 18 rooms, all booked together, under a master reservation, but for some mysterious reason, 3 of our group ran into the same ?early departure? issue. Not a major problem and it was resolved, but just indicative of the overall experience. The ""exercise room"" was ""closed for repairs"" and the pool is smack dab in the middle of the parking lot, overlooked by McDonalds and the bar.
