  Booked a room because it was pet friendly. Room was updated with nice fixtures and furniture. staff was friendly. I received a military rate that was better then any other hotel in the area. Staff was courteous and friendly.

• SURPRISINGLY BAD

  We were attending a baby shower in springfield and discovered that hotel rooms were limited due to a number of local college events and the fact that it was veterans ...

  WE WERE ATTENDING A BABY SHOWER IN SPRINGFIELD AND DISCOVERED THAT HOTEL ROOMS WERE LIMITED DUE TO A NUMBER OF LOCAL COLLEGE EVENTS AND THE FACT THAT IT WAS VETERANS DAY WEEKEND. IN ANY EVENT, WE TOOK A CHANCE ON A QUALITY INN (NOT OUR NORMAL PREFERENCE) THINKING THAT THE 2 REVIEWS LISTED ON TRAVELOCITY WERE QUITE FAVORABLE. WELL, I'M NOT SURE WHEN THOSE REVIEWS WERE WRITTEN BUT WHEN WE ARRIVED WE WERE SURPRISED BY THE CONDITIONS WE FOUND. THIS FACILITY IS QUITE DATED, CLEARLY NOT WELL-MAINTAINED, AND WORSE YET, NOT AT ALL VERY CLEAN. WHEN WE CHECKED OUR ROOM, WE FOUND IT ALSO TO BE NOT VERY CLEAN...THE BED MATTRESSES WERE ACTUALLY STAINED. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE IMMEDIATELYRETURNED TO THE FRONT DESK AND TOLD THE STAFF THAT WE WERE NOT STAYING. FORTUNATELY THERE WAS A HAMPTON INN NEARBY THAT HAD A ROOM FOR US. BOTTOM LINE...DON'T ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS AS AN ACCURATE INDICATOR OF WHAT YOU WILL FIND. BUYER BEWARE!

  Good price, nice room. staff very friendly. continental breakfast consisted of: belgian waffles, choice of cereals, small danish, or banana. coffee, orange juice, or milk.

  This hotel has been redone. i stay there twice a month. yes, when they were remodeling it wasn't perfect. (da'h)
