Do not stay at this Days Inn!

We made reservations for this hotel, and although it was awful, we stayed because we drove all day and got there at 1 am. We were too tired to talk to management, but there is a new Holiday Inn Express 50 feet away.
Our room: Actual bits of food were stuck to the bedspread and smeared on the hotel and tv information pamphlets in the room. The floors had not been vacuumed. There is black mold on the ceiling in both the bedroom and the bathroom. The sheets had holes in them the size of dimes. The box springs were visible and had stains on them I can best describe as if someone had been shot in bed and it spilled down the sides. Hopefully it was just coffee or some other brown liquid.
I took pictures of everything except the dirty carpet so I can verify to you this is true if you wish. -

The room smelled very BAD! The carpet was dirty, I could not walk on it without shoes on. The toilet didn't work. I wanted to stay some place else, but everything else nearby was full. I was in town for the dog show and would not let my dog stay in this room for fear of fleas or other bugs or diseases. My dog stayed with friends at another hotel. The man at the front desk even agreed with me and my friend that this is a bad hotel and said he wouldn't stay there if he had a choice. Never again will I stay at this hotel, probably never a Days Inn again!!
