We visited Hilton Head for our 2009 spring trip. We stayed at the Days Inn and had a very nice time. The continental breakfast was decent and we enjoyed the pool. We plan on visiting Hilton Head again for our 2011 spring trip and plan on staying at the Days Inn again. It was a decent place to stay for the price.

Location was good but the room was nothing to call home about. Tiny bathroom that was old and moldy. Sink area was also very small. Not much room for two people at all. The pool was freezing. The breakfast was something to eat but not tasty.

Broken pool chairs, Very small breakfast serving area. Carpet needs replacing in room and hallways. 1960-70 style room furniture. We were given a handi-cap room, bed to low my back still hurts, there is only a sink, not a bathroom vanity in the bathroom to place your personals.

We were very disappointed with the hospitality and with the room. The room was not clean and the air condition wasn't working properly. But my most grievious concern is that my travel plans changed and I was not able to stay at this hotel the second night of our trip. I only stayed at the hotel one of two night reservation. My room had been previously paid for and I was not refunded any money - thus the Days Inn could double rent my room. I am very concerned about this poor business practice. The check in clerk was not hospitable and refused to discuss any refund possibility with me.

Would not stay here again. Hotel was dirty - beer bottles between the bed and nightstand from the previous guests, nightstand/tables were sticky, floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, paint peeling off the bathroom walls... On top of that, the air conditioning barely worked...
