The front desk failed to notify police when two guests became a security threat and compromised the safety of the guests. We felt frightened and in danger. We immediately checked out, after only having been there less than half an hour, since the staff refused to address the situation. Never again would I stay at not only this hotel, but any Days Inn, after the less than professional behavior exhibited by the desk clerk. In addition, the clerk clearly told us no refund would be due from their establishment, even though we chose not going to stay. We found a room less than a mile away at the Best Western and were treated wonderfully.

The overall experience was good. Staff was helpful and location easy to find. Plenty of dinning and other services close to the hotel. Easy access to I-5. It was a little strange to have them use a reciept book to take an imprint of my credit card instead of using a card swipe machine. The room was clean and the beds more comfortable than some other hotels I've been in.

First of all, the picture on the Internet did not match the exterior of the hotel. I do not know where the picture was taken. The room must have been a smoking room turned into a non-smoking room and they had just cleaned the carpets with a chemical that smelled up the room for our entire stay. The refrigerator was not turned on prior to check-in. They did offer breakfast but after seeing the waffle maker with layers of old batter and grease on it we opted for breakfast elsewhere. Some of the staff was friendly and others were not so much. Our family will not stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay and the personal was great. Everything was clean and well maintained. We were a little confused why there were boxes in the hall marked "payroll records". Obviously, they were waiting to be destroyed, but should have been left on the landing of the stairs. They weren't in the way, just shouldn't have been there. The breakfast seemed to be missing something. Maybe a little fridge with yogurt, milk and hard boiled eggs. Otherwise, very good.
