This hotel was excellent for the money. It is in a hidden area yet in perfectly placed near restaurants and the mall. I have lived here in Newport news for 9 years and I nor my husband ever knew this hotel was there and we both agree this is definitely going to be our little secret rendezvous spot.

02/27/2010Nice, basic, clean hotel for one night while i visited my daughter at cnu, which is about 6-8 minutes away. i like the continental breakfast included in the pice.

The gym that this hotel advertises is not a gym. It is apart if a laundry room and only consist of four pieces of equipment; sit-up bench, NON working treadmill, elliptical and multi-purpose weight station WITHOUT a PIN. As for the house keeping staff it is a 50/50 chance. I received the greater of two evils named this young lady left her used soap in the bathroom after she supposedly cleaned my hotel room. She did not vacuum at anytime that it was her day to clean my room; she always left the hotel room lights on and never put furniture back where it was supposed to be. I thought hotels liked to save money. Maybe I was wrong. Also on my last weekend at this establishment I returned to my hotel room floor in the afternoon and stepped off the elevator to be met with the hallway engulfed with the staggering scent of marijuana. Yes, if you’re a stoner rock on, if not definitely don't stay here. Management although pleasant to your face will not tell you about the $ charges for an in room safe that you will incur even if you don't use it and they will do anything about house keepers nor will they give your air freshner for the hall way for the smoke.
