Stayed here Nov 2010. Good Staff. Clean Room. Clientele seemed to be budget conventioneers, military folks, families. Standard fast food/chain dining right next door/across street. Area consists of motels and restaurants next to the San Diego Trolley (so you can get downtown without a car in 30 minutes) within a working class neighborhood in Chula Vista. Seemed safe - lots of other motel guests walked to/from the trolley like I did - and I saw no loiterers on the street.

We selected this hotel based on other reviews and price. It turned out to be a very good deal for people traveling on a budget. The rooms was is good shape and straightened up every day by house keeping. The free breakfast helped to save a few bucks everyday and had an ok variety of muffins, doughnuts, and cereal. The location actually ended up being very close to everything since it was only one light off the freeway. It was only 10-15 minutes to any beach and downtown. Great value for the price. I would stay here again and/or recommend it to thrifty people.

Stayed 5 days. Reserved a queen bed, got a full. Was put in a handicap room that was not requested. If we were handicapped it would have been a very tight squeeze for a wheelchair or walker. The room was clean but very, very dumpy and out dated. Bathroom was the pits with no where to put shampoo or soap when you showered. You have to hold them in your hands. Had to be very carefull with the hot water or you could get burned. Pillows were horrible. Pool was very small. Pictures from website were very misleading.
