We had booked & prepaid for a double queen suite, when we arrived the desk the clerk told us "the hotel made a mistake with their numbers & that they did not have a room for us." She went on to explain that the manager of the Holiday Inn was ALSO the manager of the Super 8 hotel next door, that they DID have a room for us there. I told her "we booked through Travel Agency and prepaid for our room at the Holiday Inn, that I also look up comments on hotels, and I am not going to stay at a hotel I am NOT interested in!!.Suddenly she had a King suite that she could provide us at the Holiday Inn, this was not offered before the argument!!! My husband & I truly believe this is a scam practice this manager inflicts on travelers & business persons in order to fill up his Super 8 property once the preferable Holiday Inn is full. We were very disgusted, also we have to say this hotel is not up to Holiday Inn standards with regard to customer service, cleanliness, breakfast options, I could go on & on........

Best stay ever. We were exhausted after a long drive and was able to check in 2 hours early to be able to rest before dinner. The room was clean and extremely roomy. The Breakfast had a large variety of selections and a large room to eat in with many tables so there was no waiting to be seated. The location was perfect with easy access to and from the freeway and many large restaurants in walking distance.

I selected this hotel at random on a road trip driving back from California to Texas. I selected the location based on the proximity to shopping and dining venues, and I selected the Holiday Inn Express for two main reasons: (1) They offered a free breakfast; and (2) They offered free DSL/high speed internet. I was offered a AAA rate of about $* for the night, for a non-smoking king size room. The room was very clean, with a good desk chair, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. There was a good chair for lounging and watching TV, and a good selection of TV stations. The bathroom amenities were plentiful - shampoo, conditioner, lotions, mouthwash, etc. The breakfast was good - including hot options as well as cold options and various beverages.
