I have stayed at the Days Inn Tampa State Fairground three times now, it is definitely my hotel of choice when I visit my son in Tampa. I have always received great service when I stayed there. The bed was comfortable, nice fluffy pillows, very clean room. The housekeeping staff do an absolutely fantastic job of cleaning and re-stocking. My room had soap, shampoo, coffee/tea, in room refridgerator, AC, HBO, etc., all for around $* a night. The hotel is in a nice area, not noisy at all, shopping mall is only a mile or two away, lots of places to eat nearby (Wendy's is right next door). Highly recommended place to stay, I have not been disappointed. You will like this place.

Very Dirty & in dire need of new bed

The bath was so filled with soap scum i could write wy name in it!! I had to wear my shoes to take a shower. Very Disgusting!! Toilet still had pee on it & rust all over it. The bed was as old as the hotel & was so uncomfortable I woke up with the worst back pain ever. The pillows weren't any better, they were lumpy & old & they dont wash either blankets the coverlet & the one your suppose to sleep with. I was very dissatisfied with my stay. When I told the front desk lady about the condition of my room all she did was say "she will let housekeeping know about it!!" Housekeeping already knows the condition of the dirty room they are the ones who keep it that way!! One more thing, I was on the second floor & they have a window that when I went to open it the glass almost shattered & there is no screen so if you have young kids they can open it right up & fall right out!! I would not recomend this hotel to no one especially for $* it is more like a $* hotel if that!
