All we wanted was a place to sleep, and these low-priced, Euro-sized rooms filled the bill. A nice, clean, comfortable hotel in a good east-end location, with a friendly desk clerk and free, on-site parking. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We would stay again.

Stay for 4 nights. Great location. Walking distance to the beaches and a quick street car ride to downtown and the subway. Free parking was great, but lot was very tight. One night we had to park in another lot ( owned by hotel ) because it was full. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room was nice and clean but very very small. It was ok for us as we didn't spend much time there, but I wouldn't want to try to fit a family in there. 2 adults, and we would have to move at times to let the other person by. Breakfast was good. It was a really great value for the money. My only complaint was on the day we checked out. I hadn't even checked out yet ( but were beginning to load our stuff into the car ) and when I got back to the room to get the last of our stuff, the maid had already been in the room and took the last of my stuff including my purse. She just lost her tip! She claimed she came chasing after me with the last of the stuff, but I find that hard to believe as it was nicley tucked away on her cart. If I go back to Toronto I will definetly stay here again. I'll just make sure to watch my stuff closer.

Our stay was short and sweet but, the staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and accomdating. The room was just that... a room, but, we weren't looking for anything more than that. If you're looking for a large room in an extravagent hotel, this is not the place for you. If you're just looking for a clean place to sleep and shower, than this might be the place for you. It's conveniently located on Queen St. One streetcar takes you directly downtown. We parked the car in the free hotel parking and took the streetcar.

I loved this hotel...very '70's in decor, very clean, and roomy..close to the beach and shops and restaurants on Queen Street...we slept late and missed the continental breakfast both mornings...but that is an added feature that makes this hotel appealing...no complaints whatsoever...a wonderful stay...like being in a tropical paradise for a weekend..i highly recommend this hotel for a getaway even if you live in toronto...which i do...a relaxing wonderful weekend.

The location of the hotel was good for getting in and out of the downtown, but the staff was great!! When asked for locations of places to eat or places to go, they had the answers right there ready to go along with the directions to get there. On one occasion they didnt have an answer on the spot and called me 10 minutes later in the room to give me the information. I highly recommend this hotel mainly because the staff made it easier for us.
