  My husband and I were on our way back to NC from visiting family in NJ and stopped at a welcome center for motel coupon books. We decided on Red Carpet Inn because price was reasonable and was located just above NC state line. It was after 12am when we pulled in and were given a room. When we walked in the drop caeiling was literly dropping in but being tired we ignored it. My husband than went to close the curtain and discovered a very large black widow like spider, still we decided to take care of the problem and get some sleep. While forget that-while I was in the bathroom I was swatting at flies and back in the bedroom we started to notice moths and other critters. Well that was it-we went back to the office for our money back. If we had not been so exhausted we would have probably called the cops because after the manager checked the room to make sure we hadn't used it-he came back told us he didn't see any bugs and he could not give us back our money because I had thrown a travel size toothpaste box in the trash can (which he brought back to the office with him!) so the room was considered dirty. Oh forgot to mention the door would hardly shut and security chain was broken and also the gentleman a few doors down coming & going alittle to often at that hour!
