I was extremely pleased with my stay. Seemingly a new hotel, every thing from carpet to beds was in great shape. Location was across the street from a 20 screen movie complex, within a quarter of a mile of shopping center with Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc. I will stay here every time I am in the Raleigh area, I experienced no negatives at all.

My husband and I went down for the NHL Allstar Skills Competion and Game. I can not say enough about the staff in this hotel. What a friendly and helpful group of people. The front desk clerk, Steve, was more than willing to accomdate with taxi rides and went out of his way to make sure that everyone in the hotel had a taxi to the game. When the taxi was late he was on the phone with them. He was a joy and provided excellent customer service and was polite in doing so. The bartender was great what a nice guy. Will stay again for sure if the need arose. The hotel is close to lots of shopping and great food.

Stayed here last month while attending a wedding. The extended families had at least 15-20 rooms. The rooms are beautiful, everything was immaculate, the location was great and overall it was a good value, but there were several minor issues regarding staff and service. (1) the pillows on the beds are down pillows - not good for anyone with asthma. When I mentioned it during checkout, the clerk simply said, "oh, you should have asked" Wouldn't it make more sense to use non-allergenic pillows and offer the down as an option instead? (2) The lobby was unattended 90% of the time. One member of our party waited 45 minutes to check in, searching everywhere for any employee, only to discover that the attendant on duty was out driving another guest to get cigarettes! (3) The father of the bride made specific arrangements for the bar to remain open late for the guests arriving back after the reception, but this was not the case. The lobby once again was unattended. (4) There are coffee makers in the room but there was no tea, sugar/sweetener, creamers, etc. (5) Only two bath towels for rooms that sleep 4 people. More towels, please! I would give them the benefit of the doubt and stay here again, hoping that these comments are taken seriously and these relatively minor issues are addressed.

Hotel was great! We were hoping they had a "continental breakfast" in the morning. Overall, we were very happy with the size of the room, the pool area and fitness room. We will probably try to stay there again in November.
