the lobby of this hotel is really nice so we were excited to see our room. once we got off at our floor everything smelled like feet. the odor was unattractive and the room amenities are few. we didnt sleep well and will not be returning

When we arrived the lady at the counter was very rude and made us feel unwelcome. We asked for a set of towels later that night with the same lady and she wrote our room number down. We waited, no towels so we went out hoping they would be in the room when we got back. We got back and no towels. Florida is hot and when you are out on the town it is humid and all you want is a shower when you get home/back to the hotel. We complained to the general manager who said he would "send me something in the mail". A month later and nothing. Thanks Sonesta for a bad experience on my birthday.

We used Travel online and got the best rates. Parking was $*/night which I didn't like but added to the price, still was better than other hotels not as nice. Clean updated big rooms. No free breakfast. Didn't eat at the restaurant but the bar had a good happy hour Monday-Friday. $* drafts & * wells. It was cold in there. Staff was friendly & helpful. Will stay there again!!

Nice ambiance, nice staff. Online it said that you could request a fridge when you checked in--found out it was $* a day!!! Because of my annoyance with that they upgraded our room for free. King corner room with two walls of floor-to-ceiling windows! Good location--basically 15 miles from anywhere. Comfy beds (although the pillows aren't too great--very flat). Nice pool (I loved it being on the 4th floor roof!) and hot tub (although the hot tub had some problems while we were there). The walls seemed thin though and one or two nights we could hear the t.v. in the next room. Free Internet, yay! Please park on the street instead of paying for the ramp--no issues and we could always find a spot right in front of the hotel. Very beautiful decor. Blocks away from a 7-11 to get drinks and stuff (their breakfast was way too expensive for what you got, so bought food at the 7-11 each morning). Also lots of nice bars and restaurants within close driving distance. Satisfying experience. Great deal for the price. If you get in late though you have to go through the valet entrance--all others are locked. Maid service was very accommodating. New soaps & shampoos every day!
