Hotel was clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Decor not the most up to date that I've stayed in, esp for the price. But over all a decent place to stay.

We stayed at the Doubletree last weekend and had a wonderful time. Clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent amenities. The gentleman on the 5th floor hospitality room was a pleasure to talk to. We had a very minor issue with our TV which was handled promply by a very nice maintenance man. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. This is the place to stay in Johnson City!

We stayed on a saturday night. The next door guests were there with a Emergency Services Convention. They were smoking and drinking in the hallway. Most appeared to be intoxicated. There were approx. 8 people in the room, with many more in and out of the room. It was close to 1am, after many calls to the front desk, before they went out and things quieted down. Then they came back about 3 am to start the noise up again. The pool was closed to other quest for this convention. We requested to be moved, but there were no other rooms available, no offer to reduce our room rate were made. Management was not very helpful. (I hope I never need to go to the local emergency room or use the ambulance service in this area, very unprofessional) P.S. I am an Emergency Room Nurse and hope none of my coworker ever act the way these professionals acted.

We asked 5 times for glasses, never got them. Went to the bar to get them ourselves. The room never got cleaned on our last full day there. We ran out of tissues and almost out of toilet paper and had to ask for them. The resturant was closed the first day, then all they had for next AM meal was the $8.69 buffet with dried out scrambled eggs, no bacon. They advertised a newspaper at you door in the AM, didn't get any. I could go on.
