I found the Durury Inn Suites in Overland Park a very nice place to stay. The hotel was well taken care of, hotel staff friendly and value for the price was outstanding. I would recommend thie hotel to anyone planning a short stay in KC area. In additon the hotel is right off I-435 and was very east to find.

We went expecting something very ordinary and were treated to anything but! They served what they called a coctail hour with three free alcoholic drinks (we don't drink) and we have never heard of such a thing! We did enjoy the hot dogs and nachos and popcorn. Breakfast was fantastic and all at an extremely low price, a Saturday night, no less. It was our 37th anniversary and we swam in the pool, loved our room (sparkling clean) and the staff was extremely gracious (have known no better)! Our best rendevoux memory yet, particularly for the price!

The rooms are really nice, but the beds were really small. The breakfast was good. The kids loved the waffles and their coffee's pretty good. We didn't get checked in in time for the evening food and drinks, but they gave us vouchers at check in anyway. Not sure why since there was nothing to use it on. The pool is REALLY cold and the pool was part of the reason we chose this place and then we couldn't even use it. The gym is in really bad shape and very small.

Stayed one night. Tasty happy hour and a medley of drink choices - soft or alcohol. Hot breakfast above average with adequate seating. Very modern room - looks upscale and current design. Location off street in a business park could be hard to find at night. Also next to Pear Tree Inn so at first went into the wrong lobby. They share a parking lot.

Even though this hotel is undergoing renovations, our stay was great. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was fairly full due to the NCAA Big 12 championships, but the breakfast buffet was still well stocked will plenty of options. My room was clean and quiet and I love the dogs stay free policy!
