While the staff was friendly, the room was dirty w/ cracks in the walls, ceiling and bathroom tile. Sink was very dirty and the sink cabinet was pieced together and not repaired well. The carpet was stained. Railroad 1/2 block away has a train going by frequently. As there is a track crossing there as well, the train's horn and rumbling is heard above everything else. Not enough towels or glasses were provided. The ice machine required 20 minutes to provide 3/4 of a bucket of ice shavings (not even close to cubes...) Would not recommend this hotel.

I would not stay here ever again, even if it was the only place to stay. They need to lower the rates to match the conditions of the rooms. Stains everywhere, I was constantly killing bugs in the room. It was just gross. I was scared to stay here for fear of my health. Hopefully I don't end up sick.

I stayed here one night, and was horrified at the condition of the room. After checking in I went shopping so I didn't fully review my room before heading out. I was trusting in the Econolodge name. The list of things wrong in my room ran about twelve lines long. The biggest things were obvious STAINS on the wall beside the bed, and a blood stain on the comforter. Econolodge doesn't even recognize this hotel as an official hotel. When I called to get an address to send my complaint they didn't even show an Econolodge in Hutchinson.

09/27/2006Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. rooms were clean with microwave and fridge which was great while staying for 2 weeks.

09/18/2006Rate doubled for fair time! toilet broke. breakfast impressive last year so was the reason we came back, but disappointing this year.
