This is a typical Embassy Suites hotel--all rooms are suites, a nice, made to order breakfast, an evening manager's reception. The pool is exceptional and is located outdoors. A very nice hotel, but it is TWO MILES FROM THE BEACH, so don't think that you're going to walk out your door and onto the sand. There is a trolly service provided by (I think) the city of Ft. Lauderdale that will take you to and from the beach on the weekends. It runs every 20 minutes or so and costs *. The location is great if you are just staying a night or so in preparation for the cruise, in fact, they will run you by the cruise terminal for a fee. Parking is extra. There is a nice grocery store less than a block away to get food for the in-room fridge and microwave. Very family friendly.

Very typical Embassy Suites; everything was clean and nice. Most of the staff was friendly and the service to our room was good. Our only complaint was the lady on duty at the consierge desk. She was not very helpful and seemed annoyed that she had to answer our questions.

pleasent at front desk room very clean. I did get upgraded to a suite. breakfast in morning comes with hotel was good and plenty. excercise room was good size and had some dumbells and pulleys along with various cardio equip. very easy from and to airport. I will check back into this hotel next time i am in ft lauderdale

This hotel was absolutely wonderful - the staff was very accommodating and professional. The room was very nice and the pool was outstanding. Definitely one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I have had. Breakfasts (complimentary) were just delicious and substantial - drinks in the evening (complimentary) were abundant and free flowing. We will definitely return ... hopefully soon!

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale. The location was ideal, with close proximity (2 miles) to the beach, and close to restaurants, downtown, and the freeway. We enjoyed the free breakfasts and complimentary happy hour. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice with a picturesque waterfall. The hotel is also child-friendly, and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Ft. Lauderdale.
