This place is a dump. The "non smoking " floor smelled of smoke. When I checked into my room, it wreaked of smoke. When I called the desk, I was accused of exageratting and told that nobody had smoked in the room. I then took the ash tray left in the room down to him and he gave me another room. It was dirty and the furniture broken. TV didn't work. I checked out the next day and went across the road to the mariott.

The hotel is filthy! Our furniture was falling apart in the room. The bathroom light constantly shut off and on while in use. The breakfast was good, but the lines were so long. The hotel is so old, dirty and outdated. You would be better off staying at the Holiday Inn next door!

When travelling, I usually stay at an Embassy Suites hotel. My family really enjoyed the hotels' restaurant, happy hour, breakfast, banquet room, and exercise room. However, the view outside our second floor room was less desirable. We had the view of the air conditioning unit.

The service was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful, courteous and pleasant. The room was clean, well appointed and well equipped. The breakfast menu is very nice and a real plus, having a total breakfast available each day in the hotel package.It's always a pleasure staying at the Embassy Suites in Baton Rouge. The only complaint was that the steam and sauna were inoperable next to the pool.
