The free breakfast never changes, and it gets old after a few days. So does standing in line if you don't get up super early. Twenty bucks a day to park in suburban part of San Diego was a rip-off. But, other than those two things, it is a nice hotel , and I would stay there again for a shorter trip and park down the road for free.

Hotel was nice. Location was ideal for us. Quiet and friendly. Staff tends to get overwhelmed by breakfast, no matter what day or what time. The staff knew where to eat and made excellent recommendations.

The hotel was impressive. We loved the lay out of the hotel and it was very comfortable. It is close to everything. Walking distance from a nice Mall. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. We plan to go back in 2 months.

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel exceeded expectations in most respects. Parking is expensive but there is street parking if you are prepared to walk a bit. Only complaint is the unbelievably bad mattress on the pull-out sofa. It is not usable so don't plan on accommodating anyone on the sofa.

Recently renovated. Outside patio has flat screens, two firepits and sofas for relaxing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Typical of most Embassy's we stayed in, the frontrooms overlook an interior courtyard, so they are dark. However the bedroom had window with a view. Nice restaurants nearby and a shopping mall is directly across the street. Close to most S.D. activities and UCSD. Kid friendly.
