I enjoyed the service at this hotel. The front desk staff, the shuttle driver, the bartenders at both the hotel's happy hour and the restaurant were all very cordial, helpful and nice. I like my room for the most part. I was disappointed to find that no suite means no window to the outside. I was stuck in four walls. Luckily I was there only one night. My WARNING about this hotel. It's an open concept. So all room doors face the center and floors are designed to look like balconies. You can see from the 9th floor, the first floor, by looking over the railing. I again, reserved a king size room, not a suite. This means my room was, my bed was just feet from that railing. I unfortunately also got the second floor, so just one up from that open concept main floor. I heard the cleaning crew all night long!!! At 430 am I had to call down to have them tell the guys to be quiet they were laughing so loud. It echos!!! I heard carts rolling, tables moving, people talking all night long. I almost asked for a room change. I would recommend the hotel, just make sure you get a room on a higher floor, especially if you're not getting a suite. A suite would include a bed further away from the balcony and an extra door to cut out the sound.

The room was nice and comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, I enjoyed the managers reception where the drinks and snacks were complimentary. The restraurant was wonderful, the food was delicious. My children had a blast with the indoor pool and the game room, although it was a tad small with a limited selection. The gym was very nice, much larger than most hotels. For the most part the customer service was great. Had one or two glitches, but they werent bad enough for me not to return.

The breakfast provided was very generous and the treadmills in the exercise room were good too. Unfortunately the exercise room was very hot. Most of the front desk women were very gracious but an older gentleman would not tell me about small chain restaurants within walking distance. He only recommended the hotel's restaurant. We finally discovered several when I went walking with a colleague. The hotel restaurant was expensive and it did not have much variety. There was no hotel maid service on my last day and evening of stay so the towels were left on the floor. Also Friday and Saturday nights were pretty noisy with two dozen screaming kids in the pool. My room was one floor above the pool. I was thankful that I was gone all day at my conference. Unfortunately the mattress was REALLY soft so I had to sleep at the end of the bed and use folded bath towels to firm up the bed. The pillows were really bad too. They were really flat and gave no support.

Hotel staff was excellent, very professional and polite and helpful. The room was amazing, the beds were comfortable. The hotel is a bit old, but that was only seen in the bathroom area of our room. Maintenance could have done a better job in keeping the room up-to-snuff. It looked to be a great hotel if you were traveling with children. Yes, they were noisy, but we didn't hear them in the room, so all was good.
