The hotel was what I had expected. I really enjoyed the FREE cooked breakfast and the FREE managers cock-tail hour. I felt like the hotel was worth the price without any problem.

The first room they gave us was filthy and the second was only halfway clean. The offered cocktail hour was cut short and the breakfast was overcooked. The staff, however, were wonderful and they gave us a giftbag of snacks after the first room complaint.

We stayed here for three nights in August, 2009. The hotel is fairly old, but more than that, there just doesn't seem to be an effort to do the little things. The carpet in our room was dirty, and could have been cleaned--but wasn't. There was a piece of paper of some type outside the door to our room for a solid day and a half before it was picked up. Even at the breakfast service, the staff didn't bother to open up an auxilary line for quite a while, and as a result anyone who wanted something hot had to wait on an increasingly long line. The only fair conclusion is that the hotel is not well managed. Yet, the personnel at the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, and were very anxious to help out with dinner suggestions (even though the hotel offered dinner), or to contact housekeeping to fix something. We probably would not stay again, and probably would not recommend this hotel.

I stayed there for one night and it was wonderful. I didn't want to leave. I was there for the managers reception and the staff was wonderful and the other hotel guests were nice too. We had dinner there to and the staff was wonderful and they catered to us. The room was real nice to. The bed was soft and I didnt want to get up. It was nice to have a living area to sit and watch tv and eat breakfast on a sofa instead of laying in bed.I got up and went to breakfast and got a omlelette made to order and bacon and link sausauge on the side and it was nice that i could take it to the room. My son stayed at on the riverwalk and paid more for his hotel and had to pay for parking and didn't even get breakfast there. I am so ready to go back.

shower faucet would not turn off, carpets in room VERY dirty, broken floor tiles in room, balcony sliding door wouldn't lock (was on second floor above air conditioning unit). Overall, room-poor, breakfast-ok, pool-ok, 3 of 4 elevators worked-but very slow.
