I found this hotel to be worse than the ratings other travellers had given. The comforter on the bed was dirty and the smell of it actually kept me awake several times during the night. It's located in a questionable part of Eureka, and there were people yelling at each other outside in the evening. The internet signal was too weak for me to get online in my room, but I didn't feel safe enough after dark to go try to get online in the lobby. Next time, I'll pay more for a newer motel in Eureka!

I accidently booked a smoking room. The hotel clerk was very friendly and updated it to a non smoking room with no problem. The bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean. The only problem I had was unconsiderate guests. My room was by the vending machine and at 2:30 am two guys began talking for 30 minutes. I finally had to tell them to knock it off!

the room was medorcer you get what you pay for. the room takes a while to heat up and the heater is small and is propane. Then bathrooms are out dated and don't offer mush the closets are bigger than the bathroom. It does have a plus side it is right next to old town Eureka and there are great little shops to go look through.There is plenty of places to eat around the area with in walking distance. Then the Lost Coast Brewery is in walking distance and has good food then there is also a store right across the street. so if you are statying cheap you can get food there.
