Everyone was real nice and no problem getting more coffee, towels, washclothes, etc. at the front desk. It was a holiday weekend and maintenance could not find replacement bulbs for the ones that were out in our room. They did apologize for the inconvenience. They were real quick to phone the room and make sure everything was ok when I set the alarm off while cooking eggs for breakfast.

This hotel is in a nice area, secluded by trees, with only the O'Charley's restaurant right across the parking lot. Very nice price for what you get, which is basically a studio apartment. Bring your own shampoo, though. Had to make my sales call with dirty hair.

Asheville is a beautiful place with lots to see and do. This motel had a good location but was lacking in cleanliness. The dishes and silverware stuck in the cabinets and the ceiling in the bathroom was gross. I've had good experiences before with ES, but this wasn't one of them.

I was very pleased with the staff and the accomodations. I think people need to understand that if your paying under $* a night that its not going to be the ritz. Asheville ESA was a great value and I would definately stay there again and recommend. Oh and for those that stay in a hotel during a festival, there are going to be families and kids, get over it.

I have stayed with ESA prevoously, on a long-term basis (3 months) and they have always provided me with dependable service. This is not a place for a wild time, but a place to count on for a clean, quiet room.
Asheville is a great place to visit, but there are no affordable hotels in the downtown area. This is the closest I have been to downtown, and still have an affordable room.
My only negative comment was the poor young lady at the counter was clearly flustered with an influx of arrivals, she didn't seem to have any help, and it was 7 pm on a Friday night!
