This hotel was very dirty. There was mold on our air conditioning unit, stains on faucet, floor, trash left in pail uner sink (overflowing). We were greeted by fruit flies, full trash bag by our door. There was debris on carpet in hallway, stairwell, etc. When I inquired why I was told the maintenance man had to leave early. When I asked for manager there wasn't one working at the time (9:30Pm). There was no toiletries and no disposable cups. You could make yourself a cup of coffee but there was no way to clean mugs in the cabinet. With the way the rest of the place looked we didn't trust drinking out of them. We would never stay here again.

This is a very decent hotel for the price per night. (I can be overly picky about hotels) Upon arrival there was plenty a parking and most spots I could see my car from the room's window. The receptionist was very pleasant and had me set in a matter of 30 seconds. The room was clean, basic and had everything you'd need for a short weekend stay. There is a full fridge, stove TOP, microwave and toaster. There is also a kitchen sink and a few kitchen accessories such as dishes and pots and pans. All these came in so handy and helps with expenses if you have a half hour to spare to run to the store for a few groceries. Stop and Shop was only about 3 miles from the hotel. The only annoying thing was I could here the showers running from the other rooms over my bed. It wasn't to disruptive and only lasted about 20 minutes in the morning. There are quick stores right down the street and places to order which deliver to your room. Salem is only about 4 miles from this hotel and I think Boston was a half hour away. I will stay here again next time I am in this to this area. They allow you to bring your dog for a small fee (I think it was *$) although my pup stayed with my parents this time. The rooms do not smell like animals which is good to look for when your staying at a hotel that accepts pets. Very basic for the money charged and I would recommend this place.

We stayed here for 4 nights recently on a trip to Boston. The hotel was not fancy, but quite sufficient for our needs. The kitchenette was very nice to have, as we heated up a few meals in our room. The room and the rest of the hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and willing to offer restaurant suggestions anytime we asked. As others have said, if you are coming from the south it is hard to get to the entrance, but other than that we didn't have any complaints.
